This is part of 3rd squad which Cpl Larry Wilson was squad leader. We had just been replenished with ammo, water , C-Rats and mail from home. The company had just finished a sweep and had been in contact with NVA around Route 1 just north west of the rockpile area. Cpl Wilson had received a package from home and as was the custom who ever got a package it was shared with members of the squad. As pictured the cheese wiz & crackers was a big hit. Oh… and that day the skipper got us a beer ration of Black Label & what ever the powers that be decided to throw into the net hanging below the Hueys flying supplies to the Battalion . Thank you Chesty wherever you are.
